My beloved husband from early childhood experienced positive emotions for insects. The little boy was especially delighted and admired by bees and bumblebees. The boy has grown. But the love for the "striped fly" remained. Our first hive appeared as soon as we bought a summer house in one of the most picturesque and wonderful places in Belarus. To care for bees, many special devices were needed. To buy all the devices in our family budget was not just money. For many many years I was fond of cutting and sewing, watched fashion shows and read glossy magazines of leading fashion houses. I decided to sew a beekeeper’s hat and thereby save a decent amount of money.
You will need:

fabric with natural fibers (ideal dense linen)
yellow and black (add creativity and positive to your life)
two metal hoops of the required diameter
a piece of mesh (the structure is dense and transparent)
lace
lace fasteners
elastic or Velcro small piece
free time
your desire and desire to make an individual beautiful thing

Allowances:
At the seams and cuts, 1.5 cm.

Cutting:

Sewing:
Part 1:
Stitch short sections of part No. 3 between each other. Edges to process. Connect part 3 to part 2 and sew on the small diameter of part 1. Edges to process. Connect the metal rim to the edge of part No. 1, lay and stitch to the edge. Iron the hat, steam. To give shape, put on a 3 L jar or blank and leave for a couple of hours, or rather a day.
Part number 2:
To connect and stitch the short ends of part No. 5 and part No. 6. Edges to process.
Parts No. 4 and detail No. 9 to interconnect and stitch. Edges to process. Connect the resulting construction in a circle and stitch with part No. 5. The resulting structure in a circle to connect and stitch with part number 6. Lay the edge of the structure 4 cm and stitch. Sew a drawstring between parts No. 5 and No. 6 and tighten the lace. Put the clips on the ends of the lace. Between the upper part No. 4 / No. 9 and part No. 5 put a metal hoop and stitch in a circle.
Beekeeper hat assembly:
At the top of part number 2, mount an elastic band or Velcro. Part number 1 and part number 2 to connect in this way: leave a distance opposite the face.

My husband will spoil my first honey by the hat.
R.S: For the New Year, I sewed a wizard's hat to my beloved son, for example, as I wrote in part 1 in this article. I decorated it with colored rhinestones. I embroidered with beads. Everything turned out fine. We got a sweet present from Santa Claus for the best carnival costume. My baby was pleased to catch curious looks and listen to compliments from children and teachers. It is unfortunate that the photographs were not preserved.
