To make cold porcelain you need:
- 50 grams of starch;
- 50 grams of soda;
- 50 grams of water;
- any dye.
To decorate the composition you will need:
- organza;
- silicone gun and glue;
- toothpicks (approximately 20-25 pieces);
- thin wire 1 m;
- Styrofoam;
- a pot or other ceramic vessel;
- varnish in a spray can;
- beads.
So, first you need to cook cold porcelain. In an aluminum saucepan, mix starch and soda, then add a little dye to the water, allow it to completely dissolve, and only then pour the liquid into this pan and mix it well with other ingredients.
You need to boil porcelain over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 3 minutes, but you need to monitor the consistency, the mixture should be thick and barely peel off the walls of the pan. After the porcelain is ready, it must be allowed to cool.
To make roses, you need to tear off a small piece of porcelain, spread it in the palm of your hand. In fact, it resembles modeling from plasticine.
On a toothpick held in an upright position, you need to carefully secure the first petal.
So, one at a time, fasten until a small rosette comes out.
You can choose its size. Not all roses will have the same number of petals - it's okay, the main thing is that they should be at least approximately the same size.
For the composition you need at least 7 pieces. In any case, it is better to do 2-3 pieces of spare. The flowers should dry within 3 days. You can not put them in the sun. When they completely harden, be sure to coat them with varnish (it is better to use varnish in a spray can). During these 3 days you can choose the 7 most beautiful roses, in addition, if the lower petals are unsuccessfully fixed, during this time they can simply fall away.
Now you can start the decor. To do this, cut the organza into small squares, approximately 5x5 cm. They do not have to be even, because small corners will only decorate the composition.
They need to be bent diagonally, then in half so that a small triangle comes out. Now it should be fixed on a toothpick, and from the bottom - fixed with a wire.
Such triangles will need about 10 pieces. In the same way, 7 triangles need to be made, only the organza should be fixed in the middle of the toothpick so that a white bead can be glued with silicone glue on its tip. Such triangles need 7 pieces.
The next step is to assemble the entire composition. You need to cut a circle out of polystyrene foam and insert it into the pot so that with it you can fix all the details.
Roses should be inserted first.
Then, between them, using tweezers, you need to insert triangles with beads. Where there is empty space - decorate with simple triangles.
That's all, the flower arrangement in the technique of "cold porcelain" is ready!
