Lush roses from corrugated paper

Roses are incredibly beautiful and exquisite flowers. The shades of these plants amaze the imagination: from pure white to dark scarlet, from soft pink to purple-crimson. And the structure of the bud in individual varieties is incredibly lush, which can be difficult to calculate the number of petals. There is not a single person in the world who would be indifferent to the rose bush. And if you look at works of art, then the embodiment of these colors is in every technique. Artists painted, sculptors sculpted, craftswomen embroidered paintings ... Many roses are found on fashionistas' outfits, in the interiors of rooms, in jewelry. Today you will learn how to make magnificent roses of their corrugated paper in a very unusual technique. There are workshops where the flower bud is assembled from separate petals, and in this the rose is made from a continuous strip. You will find out more later. Prepare the following materials for work:
- corrugated paper of different colors (especially red and dark blue);
- wooden long skewers (7 pieces);
- scissors;
- tube with PVA-K glue;
- the lower part of the plastic bottle (2 l).
Take the dark blue corrugated paper and cut it into 8 cm wide pieces over the entire length of the skein.
Unroll the strip along the entire length.
Take the upper right corner in your hands and form wavy edges. How to do it right? First, you turn the upper edge onto yourself, then press it with the thumb of your right hand and turn it back, while lapping forward with your left hand. Then repeat again: with your right hand away from you and with your left hand towards yourself. It turns a wavy upper edge.
So you need to do the entire strip of corrugated paper.
Then take a thin wooden skewer, attach it to the right edge of the paper blank, apply a little PVA glue and start twisting the strip in a spiral.
Make sure that the wavy edge fits freely, and glue is sometimes necessary on the underside of the paper strip so that it fits snugly against the wooden skewer.
This is what the finished bud looks like. It turns out magnificent and incredibly beautiful. You can decorate a wooden skewer with green corrugated paper, you get a stalk.
By the same principle, it is necessary to make all the other flowers.
Cut a strip of red corrugated paper.
Form a wavy edge along the entire length of the workpiece.
Glue the paper blank on a wooden thin stick.
This is what the red rose looks like.
In total, you need to make 6 blue buds and one red. Although, you can choose the color of roses at your discretion. Now go on to making a vase. Take the bottom edge of the plastic bottle. Its height is about 11 cm.
Decorate with red corrugated paper. Cut a square of 30x30 cm, apply PVA glue to it and wrap it inside the plastic base. It turns out a wide vase.
Place the roses in it: blue in a circle, and one red in the center. It turns out a magnificent airy composition of lush roses.
If you make a lot of roses, they can be placed in a small basket. It looks just great.
