Sometimes in the dark it’s hard to find the switch. To facilitate this work, I propose to incorporate a backlight into it. The LED VD1 acts as a light source, connected to the circuit breaker terminals via resistor R1. The VD2 diode protects the LED from reverse voltage. When the switch contacts are open, the circuit contains voltage supplied through the cold thread of the bulb. When the switch contacts are closed, the voltage between them is zero, and the LED does not light.
It is advisable to put a resistor R1 of at least 0.5 W, since some heat is released on it. As the LED, I used a red super bright transparent 5 mm LED.

Not only switches can be equipped with such a backlight:
If possible, you can replace the LED with a neon bulb. Accordingly, removing the diode.
