Not only young lovers congratulate each other on Valentine's Day, but also the children of their parents and grandparents. Therefore, my children and I decided to give our beloved grandmother a gift of a card in the form of a heart with a children's palm.
Necessary materials:
- Color cardboard;
- Paper napkins;
- PVA glue;
- Pencil;
- Scissors.
From color cardboard, we select one sheet of any color, but different from the color of paper napkins, otherwise they will merge. We chose cardboard yellow, and napkins pink.
On the back of the cardboard, draw a heart of arbitrary size with a pencil. And we cut it with scissors.
In the center of the cardboard heart, gently draw a pencil around the child’s palm, as shown in the following photo.
My baby is only nine months old, so a small palm and just a paper towel are enough for her decoration. We cut it with scissors into fragments of the same size. Next, squeezing the fragments of the napkin with your fingers, we make paper balls.
Lubricate the drawn children's palm on a cardboard heart with PVA glue.
Gently, but quickly, until the glue hardens, glue the pink paper balls.
Here is such a nice valentine’s greeting card for a present to our grandmother.
Older children may well make such a Valentine on their own.
By the way, a heart with a palm can also be made as a gift card for March 8th.
All with the upcoming holiday! Love and be loved!
