Wedding box

Various pleasant little things serve as a memory of the wedding, of a happy day - a dried up bouquet of the bride, the groom’s boutonniere, greeting cards and photographs, souvenirs from the honeymoon. Often all these things are stored in different places, haphazardly. It would be nice to make a smart box as a gift for the newlyweds, which will become a repository of memories.
Before work, it is necessary to conduct an audit of your materials for creativity, pick up shreds, braid and jewelry.
The box from the cup and saucer became the basis of my casket.
The bottom of the box was wrapped with a long satin rag, the fabric is glued with PVA inside and on the bottom outside (make sure there are no wrinkles).
The cover will be made of wrapping paper so that it contrasts with the atlas with its texture. The sheet needs to be strongly crumpled, slightly spread and glued, creating volume folds.
Now, the future casket needs jewelry that will give it a certain mood. If you know the color of the bride’s dress or the style of the wedding (for example, marine style, retro style), you can arrange the box in the same spirit. I did not want the gift to be pure white, because the product turns out to be a little faded, and light jewelry is lost. It was decided to add a passionate red and solemn silver and gold shades.
From the packaging of laurel leaves we take intact, cut off the trimmed with scissors, cover with silver enamel - spray from a spray can.
Elastic fabric of red and golden color served as the basis for roses, which are fixed on the lid using pins with pearl heads.
To prevent the decorations from lying flat on the lid, it is necessary to give volume and airiness - I did this by placing pieces of ruffled organza and tulle folded in accordion under the leaves and roses.
And, like every creation, the box requires a frame - a silver piping is glued along the edge of the lid and diagonally along its corner (you can insert a postcard or a flower under the corner)
