In this review, the author shares the idea of how to make a tripod from polypropylene pipes. The design is folding that simplifies transportation.
You can use a tripod both in tandem with the construction laser level, and to mount other devices, including the camera.
The base of the tripod is a tripod. It is made of two couplings welded together, three pieces of PP pipe and a metal pipe.
Legs made of pieces of PP pipes and angles of 90 degrees are screwed into the nozzles. The author soldered the plugs to the corners. A thread is cut inside the soldered nozzles and at the ends of the legs.
Design features
After the tripod has been assembled, we put a polypropylene pipe on a metal tube - this is the tripod stand.
A movable carriage made of a tee, two clips and a fixing bolt is put on the rack.
A platform for a laser level or a camera is attached directly to the carriage.
You can also use another mount, which is installed at the top of the rack. To do this, you will additionally need to make an adapter.
