In this review, the author shows how to make a mini cyclone for a band saw with your own hands.
This design does not take up much space in the workshop and copes with its task perfectly.
To make this device you will need a piece of sewer plastic pipe, a plastic sleeve, two plugs, as well as two more pieces of sewer pipe, but of a smaller diameter.
First of all, we take the first plug, make markings and drill a hole in the center. We insert into it a plastic pipe with a diameter of 50 mm.
The main stages of work
In the next step, you will need to drill a hole in the coupler. We cut off at an angle the edge of the second sewer pipe with a diameter of 50 mm, and adjust it to the hole drilled in the sleeve.
After that, we clean the surface of the plastic with sandpaper, and glue the prepared parts: one piece of pipe with a plug, the second with a sleeve.
The joints are additionally sealed with hot glue. Then insert the plug with the pipe into the sleeve.
We attach a large-diameter plastic pipe to the band saw, and then install the assembled structure into it, and connect the hoses.
