In this review, the author shows how to make a simple machine for welding thin metal at home with your own hands.
To do this, you need a 12V battery, two copper cables and a 1.5V battery. More precisely, not the battery itself, but only the graphite rod from it.
First of all, with the help of pliers, a screwdriver or other improvised materials, we disassemble the finger battery.
Then, having previously placed a newspaper, rag or film on the table, we remove the graphite rod from the battery case.
Try to remove it carefully so as not to break it. And then all efforts will be in vain.
The main stages of work
The graphite rod, obtained by honest labor from a finger-type battery, must be connected to the end of one of the copper cables.
After that, we connect the wires to the battery. We connect the copper cable with a graphite rod to "+", and the mass to "-".
Now you can proceed directly to welding. Here, in principle, there is nothing complicated.
We touch the metal plate with a negative cable (or rather use a "crocodile"), and we weld with an electrode from a graphite rod. Try not to overheat it much.
