Now we will start manufacturing the table nut cracker, which is discussed in this review. The first step is to make a new foundation for our device. For this, the author uses a plate with a thickness of about 25-30 mm, however, for the base, it is quite possible to do with a plate with a smaller thickness.
The main stages of work
We make markings, after which we drill four mounting holes. In drilled holes, it will be necessary to cut the thread with a tap.
Then the author cuts another piece of the plate, and then welds the workpiece perpendicular to the base (at an angle of 90 degrees).
At the next stage, we screw the device onto the bolts, and in addition, the author welds a piece of the corner edge up to the base.
The homemade product is ready, and you can try it in work. We put the walnut on the corner, after which we press on it with the clamping "nickle" of the device. The device does its job well.
