Having made a “nozzle” on a bottle jack with your own hands, you can easily raise a motorcycle. It is convenient for its maintenance and repair.
To make a homemade “nozzle” you will need pieces of metal (strips, a piece of steel round pipe, a square bar, etc.), as well as a bearing.
The first step is to cut off two pieces of metal strip of equal length, and weld them together by inserting round bars along the edges.
The main stages of work
In the center of the strips, the author welds the inner race from the bearing. Then it cuts off two pieces of a stud of a suitable diameter and inserts them into the gap between the strips by tightening the nuts.
At the next stage, you need to cut a piece of round pipe, and cut it in half along. The resulting halves must be welded to the hairpin segments.
Next, you will need two more inner clips from small bearings. They will need to make slots, and then weld the nuts into which the screw from the stud and a piece of round bar are screwed.
As emphasis, pieces of a square bar are used, which are inserted into the holes in the bearing cages. The nozzle is put on the jack, and you can use this device for its intended purpose.
