Very often during operation, both the metal sheet and the handle-holder itself can fail. To make mini hacksaw for metal in workshop conditions is very easy.
To do this, you will need an old diamond stone disc. You will also need to prepare a grinding tool (angle grinder, grinder, drill), a drilling tool, an electric jigsaw, a pair of wooden bars and several pieces of copper fittings.
First, draw the future hacksaw case on a piece of paper and glue it to the disk. Carefully along the contour we cut out our workpiece. We grind all sharp and sticking edges on the grinder.

After that, we apply a metal billet to pre-prepared wooden blocks, and draw a outline of the product. Cut a wooden handle with a jigsaw.
Next, drill holes in the workpiece and in the handle. We cut a groove under the canvas in one of the wooden handles using a milling cutter.
In the next step, we assemble the hacksaw using epoxy glue and pieces of reinforcement. Next, we grind the common surface to a comfortable hold in the hand. Cover with mineral oil.
