For the workshop and garage, you can make a high stool from ordinary plumbing fittings and water pipes. The design is very simple, it will take a little materials, so everyone can do this stool.

The main elements for the manufacture of this homemade stool are plumbing fittings, which can be bought at the store. Seat will require plywood. As a soft "filler" foam rubber is used.

So, the following materials will be required for work: one crosspiece, four tees, eight nipples (barrels), four angles of 90 degrees, four short pieces of pipe with a thread at the ends, and four long ones.

The step-by-step process of assembling a homemade stool

First of all, it is necessary to assemble the main part of the structure. Four barrels are screwed into the cross. Tees are wound on them. Then the remaining 4 nipples are screwed into the tees.

Four plumbing corners of 90 degrees are wound on them. And already in them the master twists short pieces of pipe on which plastic caps are put on.

In the next step, you need to cut four long sections of the water pipe, and cut the external thread on only one side. Four steel large washers are welded to the other end of the pipes.

Then the master cuts two circles of the same diameter from plywood. Foam is placed on the first circle, and a piece of leather is pulled on top. Alternatively, you can still use upholstery cotton fabric (dermantine).

After that, the master “fastens” the seat trim with a stapler. Then, the second circle from a sheet of plywood is screwed to the bottom of the seat with screws. In addition, the master decided to varnish it (you can simply paint it with a stain).

At the last stage of work, it remains only to screw the seat to the main part of the structure. But pre-painted pipes and fittings can be painted to look more solid and stylish.
