First we knit the head. We start with an open loop, on which we knit 6 SC, which we connect in a circle. Then tighten the loop by the freely dangling tail. Next, we knit circles in a spiral, each time evenly increasing the circle by 6 loops. Thus, we knit 11 circles. We knit another 9 circles without an increase. On the 10th circle, we first knit 28 air loops over 28 loops of the previous row. Then we finish the circle as usual, loop into the loop. We knit the last row without increasing the number of loops. A large gap has formed, in which we will knit the tentacles, closing every 4 loops in a circle (and 4 loops on the opposite row). That is, the tentacles are knitted for 8 loops in a spiral, at the end we tighten the thread. We should get 7 tentacles. Knit them different, from 11 rows to 15. Some tentacles specifically bend. That is, somewhere knit 2 loops each three times in a row. And on the opposite side, skip these extra loops so that the thickness of the tubes remains the same.
This is how the head looks from the inside.
We knit the fabric with thicker threads, 100 g per 250 m, because the grass is also thick. We collect 20 chain stitches and knit "4 rows with a smooth thread and 2 rows of grass" 9 times.
In order not to make a mistake, we check the diameter of the head and the length of the canvas - they should be equal. Otherwise, dissolve or tie.
We sew the fabric along the side and put the head there face to face.
We attach it with a crochet or just a thread, as it is more convenient. We turn it on.
Now we collect 18 loops on an open loop and knit three rows. They will completely cover the purchased monster eyes. At the top we glue the eyes to the first row and tighten the thread tightly, the end of which we hide and cut.
Sew on the eyes.
We knit a circle for the bottom. Its diameter should coincide with the diameter of the body.
We stuff the doll with sintepon or holofiber and sew the bottom. Knit pens on three fingers. We start the set on an open loop and knit 12 loops. We knit 3 rows. In the 4th row, we expand the fabric to 18 loops and knit 2 more rows. Then we knit fingers, each on 6 loops in a spiral, 3 rows per finger.
Knitting flippers is very simple. We again collect 6 loops on an open loop, close and knit another 12 rows in a spiral, adding 6 loops evenly in each row. We fill it with syntepon and the crustacean step we close the halves folded in half.
Now we sew the fins in such a way that the toy stands without a stand. It will be necessary to make a slight tightening to the center, and to sew the legs slightly apart.
Sew handles to the body on the sides closer to the head.
The monster turned out to be very kind and a little shy. His eyes close and open, and they clap very funny. They can also be sewn closer. The monster is very soft. The size was 22 cm in height, and 31 cm in diameter. For zhivinki add a few stitches with contrasting thread to the ends of the tentacles.
Well, isn't it cute, right? My granddaughter loved him very much, although the hero is negative.
