In this review, the author shows how to make a do-it-yourself vibroinstallation for cleaning metal parts from rust. Sand is used as an abrasive.

To make this homemade product you will need a membrane expansion tank for heating, an electric motor and some other materials that can be easily found in the workshop and garage.

First of all, the author winds a sleeve with a nut welded to it on the motor shaft. The result was a kind of eccentric.

The main stages of work

At the next stage, it will be necessary to cut the membrane expansion tank in half. This can be done with a grinder or with a band saw.

Further, the author cuts a circle from a sheet of metal. Four holes need to be drilled in it to install the springs. On the back of the circle they are scalded.

After that, you need to drill more holes so that you can fix the electric motor.

Then we drill four more holes in the metal circle to install the studs. Fix them with nuts.

In the bowl (one of the halves of the expansion tank), you also need to drill holes for the studs. For reliability, the author welds them to the bottom of the tank.

Our homemade product is ready. Pour sand into the bowl, immerse metal parts or workpieces in it, which must be cleaned of rust, and then turn on the electric motor.
