A portable home-made grinder from a small grinder is useful in a garage or a home workshop. Also, due to its compact size, you can take it with you on a trip to the object if you are doing repairs or some kind of shabbat.
First you need to cut the blanks from metal. In this case, the master uses trim from a building corner 6-7 mm thick. However, it will be more convenient to use strips of metal (they will then be easier to cut).
Two plates of the same length must be attached to the gear case (on the sides), and the third should be welded to them perpendicularly. The result should be a U-shaped part.
The main stages of work
After making a home-made mount for a grinder, you will need to weld it to a piece of a square-shaped profile pipe. The length of the profile should be the same as the length of the upper mounting plate for angle grinders.
Of the three sections of the building corner, you will need to weld a folding work table, on which it will be possible to grind the workpieces.
